Ms. He focuses her practice on securities litigation, securities compliance, corporate litigation, financial dispute, and general civil and commercial dispute resolution. She is a graduate of China University of Political Science and Law.
During her years of legal practice, Ms. He has represented clients in hundreds of contentious cases involving over 10 billion RMB in total. She has participated in many landmark cases of national influence, such as a civil liability lawsuit against misrepresentation of an A-share listed company where the defendant was released from compensation liability; the first-ever administrative regulation case in China's securities industry; a series of cases involving a control rights and equity dispute of a renowned PRC beverage company, which was among the first batch of first-instance civil/commercial lawsuits before the Supreme People's Court since its establishment; a ground-breaking, VIE-related case in which the shareholder's failure to disclose overseas shareholding entrustment was deemed by the court as not impairing the company's interests; and a dispute over ownership of the "Ming Dynasty Wine Cellar Group", the core asset of a renowned listed liquor company in China.
Ms. He also actively contributes to the theoretical study of commercial and securities litigation. She has contributed to ACLA's Guideline for Legal Practice (the section on civil liability litigation practice against securities misrepresentation) and published numerous articles on relevant legal practice. Ms. He has been honored among Legalband's China 30 Under 30, in DAWKINS ranking of China's top ranked lawyers in securities compliance and litigation practice, and as a Rising Star lawyer by China Business Law Journal.
CLECSS developed the 8th Top Ten Outstanding Young Lawyers list this year after a months-long selection process in which candidates were carefully evaluated in terms of their educational background, areas of expertise, location of practice, and gender, among other considerations. Most of these 12 outstanding talents named in the final list, including Ms. He, are from PRC firms, and one works for an international firm. The 12 winners are standout lawyers practicing in Beijing, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Shenzhen, and Hong Kong who continue to pursue professional excellence while serving as generous contributors to the legal industry.
