Bradley's Whitney Jackson Selected to Join the National Bar Association's Associate Advancement Academy

Bradley is pleased to announce that Whitney Jackson was selected to join the National Bar Association’s (NBA) Associate Advancement Academy for Excellence 2023-2024 Cohort.

The NBA Associate Advancement Academy is specifically intended to facilitate the advancement and retention of Black attorneys in the nation’s largest law firms and is a tailored career advancement experience for Black associates within the first three years of practice in an AmLaw 200 firm. The academy includes educational, networking, mentoring, and pro bono/community service components tailored to advance the careers of attorneys within the first three years of practice. Fellows participate in monthly educational networking sessions, monthly mentoring check-ins, and various organization events throughout the year.

Ms. Jackson is an associate in the firm’s Jackson office and a member of the Litigation Practice Group, where she focuses her practice on commercial litigation, employment, and intellectual property matters. Ms. Jackson earned her J.D. from the University of Mississippi School of Law, where she was active in student organizations and served as an associate articles editor for the Mississippi Law Journal and senator of the Student Bar Association, as well as vice president of the Black Law Students Association.

Founded in 1925, the National Bar Association is the nation’s oldest and largest national network of predominantly Black attorneys and judges. It is organized around 23 substantive law sections, 10 divisions, 12 regions, and over 80 affiliate chapters throughout the United States and around the world.
