Spilman Law Firm Opens Office in the Sunshine State

Jacksonville, Fla. — Spilman Thomas & Battle (Spilman) announced that the law firm has opened a new office in Jacksonville, Florida – marking its official entrance into the Sunshine State and expanding its footprint to eight offices in total.
Kevin L. Carr, a longstanding partner of the firm and co-chair of its Labor & Employment Law Practice Group, is helming the Jacksonville office.
“Our move has been in the works for some time,” Carr said. “Many of our business clients have operations in Florida and have encouraged us to establish a formal presence in the state. The timing was right, the location was right, and I’m honored to be able to lead our efforts in the state.”
The new office is a strategic expansion to better meet the needs of the law firm’s growing client base in the southeastern United States.
