Partner Lisa E. Cleary Honored at NYLPI Law & Society Awards Luncheon

On May 25, 2023, Patterson Belknap Partner Lisa E. Cleary was honored by New York Lawyers for the Public Interest (NYLPI) at its Annual Law & Society Awards Luncheon in New York City. The luncheon “sustains NYLPI’s innovative efforts combining law, organizing, and the power of the private bar to achieve justice for all New Yorkers.” Lisa was joined by co-honoree David B. Pitofsky, Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer of News Corp. who serves on NYLPI’s Board of Directors. This honor recognized Lisa for her extraordinary dedication to disability justice and for inspiring a generation of pro bono lawyers. In her remarks, Lisa celebrated the firm’s 19 consecutive years of 100% pro bono participation, and discussed the role all lawyers can play to ensure a more just and equitable society.
