A team led by Dr. Jörg Schewe, Heuking Partner at the Hamburg office, advised Finnish Labquality Oy on the acquisition of P.R.I.S.M.A.-CRO Clinical Research Organisation GmbH.
P.R.I.S.M.A. is a German company specialising in clinical trial services for the pharmaceutical and biotech industry. P.R.I.S.M.A. and its experienced professionals strengthen Labquality's clinical trial offering in the pharmaceutical and biotech market. The acquisition is in line with Labquality's strategy to build a full-service international contract research organisation (CRO).
Labquality Oy is a Finnish company based in Helsinki. The team consists of healthcare and health tech quality experts. Labquality provides quality services to the healthcare, pharmaceutical and medical device industries; these include external quality assessments, regulatory consulting, clinical trials and studies, audits and certifications, and training. Labquality supports, among others, manufacturers of medical devices and in vitro diagnostics, pharmaceutical companies, healthcare institutions and clinical laboratories.
The acquisition of P.R.I.S.M.A. enables Labquality to expand its CRO business in the European pharmaceutical market. Labquality thereby expands its clinical trial services to pharmaceuticals in Germany and strengthens its position as a CRO service provider for the pharmaceutical and healthcare technology industry.
