Heuking advises Swedish BHG Group on sale of its majority stake in online store gartenmoebel.de
A Heuking Team led by Düsseldorf Corporate/ M&A Partner Dr. Martin Imhof advised the listed BHG Group AB, headquartered in Malmö, Sweden, on the sale of its majority stake in AH-Trading GmbH.
Located in Xanten, AH-Trading operates the online stores gartenmoebel.de and loungedreams.com. Jointly with its subsidiary, the outdoor furniture manufacturer Ploß, the company offers a renowned portfolio of garden furniture and outdoor equipment. AH-Trading is now back in the hands of its founders.
The divestment was made as part of a strategic reorganization of the BHG Group to focus on specific business areas and selected markets. BHG is the number 1 consumer e-commerce company in the Nordics and has also a significant presence in the rest of Europe.
The team led by Corporate Partner Dr. Martin Imhof has already assisted BHG with the initial purchase of its stake in AH-Trading and further ad-on acquisitions.
