Bradley Partner Tom Warburton Elected Member of the American Board of Trial Advocates

Bradley is pleased to announce that partner Tom Warburton was elected to the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA).

ABOTA is a national invitation-only organization comprised of experienced trial lawyers and judges dedicated to the preservation and promotion of the civil jury trial right provided by the Seventh Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. Members must have at least five years of experience as trial lawyers, have tried at least 10 civil jury trials to conclusion and possess additional litigation experience. Mr. Warburton was one of 50 new ABOTA members elected this year.

Mr. Warburton tries high-stakes cases for both plaintiffs and defendants throughout the country. He focuses on matters relating to business relationships and important intellectual property, working on cases involving trade secrets and patents through resolution or by trial or settlement. He has gained significant experience throughout his career, managing and trying cases from a wide spectrum including antitrust, business, construction, civil rights, insurance, intellectual property, mineral rights, negligence, product liability, land use, real property, tax and wrongful termination.

A graduate of the University of Virginia School of Law, Mr. Warburton earned his B.A. from the Virginia Military Institute. He has been listed in The Best Lawyers in America® since 2016 and in Benchmark Litigation since 2015. Mr. Warburton has also been recognized in Mid-South Super Lawyers. He is a member of the Alabama Defense Lawyers Association and the Association of Defense Trial Attorneys.

Membership consists of more than 7,300 lawyers – equally balanced between plaintiff and defense – and judges spread among 96 chapters and in all 50 U.S. states and the District of Columbia.
