Bradley’s Samuel M. Dearstyne Awarded “Rookie of the Year” by DRI Young Lawyers
Bradley is pleased to announce that Samuel M. Dearstyne was recognized with the DRI Young Lawyers Committee’s “Rookie of the Year” award at the DRI Annual Meeting in San Antonio, Texas on October 27.
Mr. Dearstyne earned this recognition for his exemplary work on the “Fast Pitch” program, part of the Committee’s annual Young Lawyers Seminar held in June. He was instrumental in recruiting nearly a dozen in-house counsel from around the Charlotte area to participate in the program.
An associate in Bradley’s Charlotte office, Mr. Dearstyne is a litigator who focuses on a variety of complex disputes related to contracts, business torts, product liability and insurance coverage. He also regularly counsels clients on issues pertaining to regulatory compliance and contract drafting. Prior to joining the firm, he interned for the Hon. Robert J. Conrad Jr. of the United States District Court for the Western District of North Carolina. Mr. Dearstyne earned his J.D. from the University of North Carolina School of Law and his B.A. from North Carolina State University.
The DRI Young Lawyers Committee is comprised of lawyers practicing across every substantive area within the defense bar who have been admitted to the bar 10 years or fewer. The committee is dedicated to providing its members with the best professional development, quality CLE programs and networking opportunities.
