Han Kun Law Offices is pleased to announce that Ms. Yang Han has recently joined the firm as a partner.
Ms. Han has extensive experience dealing with major, difficult and complex matters for companies, families, and individuals. She provides comprehensive services in respect of identifying, evaluating, and isolating criminal and administrative law risks, wealth management, handling corporate control disputes, and protecting the interests of enterprises and entrepreneurs. Ms. Han is well-experienced in handling criminal and administrative legal matters, especially for crisis management involving matters such as surprise investigations and alleged administrative violations and crimes. In addition, Ms. Han has been invited by different institutions, acting as specially invited expert, visiting professor, and the third-party compliance specialist for companies, and was certified as a Compliance Engineer by China Association of Small and Medium Enterprises. She also drafted the Standards for Evaluation of Effectiveness of Compliance Management Systems.
Before joining Han Kun, Ms. Han's legal career spanned two decades and included work in the Beijing People's Procuratorate system for over 10 years and legal practice with King & Wood Mallesons, where she specialized in criminal and administrative law and became a partner. Ms. Han graduated from the University of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, where she obtained a Juris Master degree.Ms. Han has been recognized as a "Rising Star" by Asian Legal Business (ALB) and recognized as a "Rising Star" in the area of Regulatory and Compliance by The Legal 500 for five consecutive years from 2019 to 2023.
