Buchalter Announces Eric Kennedy as New Office Managing Shareholder in Orange County

January 18, 2024. Buchalter is pleased to announce Eric Kennedy as Office Managing Shareholder in Orange County. Actively involved in Firm leadership for many years, Kennedy also serves as Chair of the firm’s Partnership Evaluation and Recruiting Committees, Co-Chair of the Pro Bono Committee, and Member of the Strategic Planning Committee.

The firm’s Orange County office recently celebrated its 40th anniversary in business. One of Buchalter’s largest offices, Orange County has more than 100 employees, including over 60 attorneys with particular strengths in Corporate, Litigation, Intellectual Property, Real Estate, Insolvency, Health Care, and White Collar Law.
A high-stakes litigator, Kennedy routinely handles real estate disputes involving owners, developers, landlords, and commercial tenants. He also regularly represents clients in disputes involving corporate financing, governance, and operations.
Kennedy has significant experience defending consumer class actions and handling disputes involving contracts, unfair competition, and fiduciary relationships. Kennedy represents clients in a variety of industries, including technology, retail, apparel, social media, consumer products, and automotive. Prior to joining Buchalter, Kennedy was with Jones Day and Latham & Watkins.
