Rome, February 1, 2024 - International law firm Gianni & Origoni has obtained the UNI/PdR 125:2022 certification for gender equality in the workplace, a fundamental value the firm has been focusing on for some time. Issued by DNV, an independent certification body, this important result recognises GOP’s commitment in championing a diverse and sustainable professional place to work.

The certification, which is valid for three years and is subject to annual monitoring, takes into consideration six areas of analysis: culture and strategy, governance, hr processes, opportunities for growth and inclusion of women in the company, remuneration equity by gender, protection of parenthood and work-life balance.

For this journey GOP set up a dedicated and permanent steering committee, which is responsible for monitoring the progress of the actions put in place and their inclusion in the firm’s medium and long-term strategic plans.

Alessandra Frattini, Head of GOP’s gender equality management system, commented: “It was important for us to pursue this recognition as it reflects our commitment towards gender equality, a commitment we undertook a long way back with our GOP Cares program which continues, in line with our firm’s strategic goals, to achieve important results in fostering an equitable and inclusive work environment.”
