Han Kun for the third consecutive year authors the China chapter of Chambers Technology M&A Global Practice Guide

February, 2024 - Beijing, Mainland China

The world's leading legal directory Chambers and Partners recently published its Technology M&A Global Practice Guide (2024) (the "Guide"). Han Kun exclusively contributed the Law and Practice part of the Guide's China chapter. The contributors include Sean Li, Shijia Li, Shiye Yuan, Angus Xie, Kevin Duan, and Will Huang. Han Kun was invited to author Chambers Technology M&A Global Practice Guide for the third consecutive year.

The launch of Chambers' Technology M&A Guide indicates the important and distinctive role of technology M&A in today's world. The Guide covers 19 jurisdictions to address the same set of issues that a technology company faces during its lifespan: from incorporation to early-stage funding and venture capital financing, and to the ultimate goal of being a public company or being sold at a high premium. In particular, the Guide touches on key market trends, early-stage and venture capital financing, liquidity events, spin-offs, acquisitions of public technology companies, and business critical regulatory requirements.

Han Kun has for many years held a leading role in the TMT sector and M&A practice, recognized by authoritative global legal directories and rankings as a top-tier PRC law firm. We have been engaged in multiple high-profile transactions in the TMT sector and have become trusted counsel to highly regarded technology companies in their IPOs, M&A transactions, and corporate matters, such as intellectual property, anti-trust, data protection, and compliance.
