HEUKING advises Rhein Invest on the acquisition of a majority stake in E+Service+Check GmbH
A team led by Dr. Bodo Dehne and Sandra Pfister advised Dutch private equity investor Rhein Invest on the acquisition of a majority stake in E+Service+Check GmbH.
HEUKING advised Rhein Invest on the negotiation and conclusion of the acquisition agreements, a W&I insurance policy and the acquisition financing, which was provided by Oldenburgische Landesbank.
E+Service+Check GmbH is a leading German electro check service provider in the Testing, Inspection, Certification and Compliance market (TICC) located in Laucha an der Unstrut (Saxony-Anhalt). It specialises in the testing of electrical devices, systems and machines and has a workforce of more than 330 employees. As a result of the transaction, the testing company has partnered with Rhein Invest for the next stage of the company's successful development. Together with the management team of E+Service+Check GmbH, Rhein Invest will support the company in its vision to establish broader national service coverage by setting up additional service points and laying the foundations for international expansion, for example in the Netherlands or in CEE countries.
Founded in 2010, the company helps its broad customer base to ensure electro safety and accident prevention in the workplace as required by occupational safety laws and regulations of the statutory accident insurance. E+Service+Check GmbH carries out approximately 6.3 million electro tests per year, especially according to various standards such as DGUV 3 and occupational safety regulation.
Rhein Invest is a fast-growing Dutch private equity investor that invests in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the German-Dutch market, providing them with professional growth capital and expertise. The focus is on primary acquisitions of owner-driven or family-owned businesses as well as on succession situations.
