Han Kun partner Adrian Lv claims inaugural CLECSS Award for Top Legal Practitioners in the Greater Bay Area

On March 21, 2024, CLESS unveiled its inaugural 2023 Award for Top Legal Practitioners in the Greater Bay Area. Han Kun partner Adrian Lv has been named to the list.
The award was inaugurated as a response to China's blueprint for developing the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. It is the result of a two-month selection process where candidates were carefully evaluated in terms of their education background, area of expertise, and location of practice, among other considerations. The eleven winners of the 2023 award, including Mr. Lv, are stellar lawyers practicing in Guangzhou, Shenzhen, or Hong Kong who continue to pursue professional excellence while serving as generous contributors to the legal industry.
Mr. Lv specializes in mergers and acquisitions, venture capital and private equity, capital market transactions, foreign direct investment, offshore investment, real estate development and operations, and general corporate matters. He has provided a wide range of legal services for various large- and medium-scale state-owned/private enterprises, listed companies, multinational corporations, private equity funds, etc. Mr. Lv has represented clients in handling many projects that involve acquiring assets and equity interests, investment and financing, share offerings, bond issuances, infrastructure bidding, construction and operations, real property development and management, etc., covering industries such as TMT, finance, hi-tech, energy, electricity, transportation, real estate, construction, retail, apparel, agricultural products, food, chemical, and medical equipment. Mr. Lv has also represented a number of well-known domestic and overseas companies as their long-term external legal counsel, and has accumulated rich experience in corporate matters.
Mr. Lv has been recognized as a "Next Generation Partner in M&A" and "Next Generation Partner in TMT" and "South China Rising Lawyer" by authoritative global legal directories.
Mr. Lv graduated from Renmin University of China with a bachelor's degree in law in 2005. He then studied at University College London and obtained an LL.M. in Commercial and Corporate Law in 2006.
Before joining Han Kun, he practiced law at two other well-known law firms. He is now a partner as well as a member of the Lawyer Growth and Development Committee of Han Kun Law Offices.
