Krysta Gumbiner Appointed to Managing Partner of Dinsmore’s Chicago Office
Dinsmore & Shohl LLP is pleased to announce that Krysta Gumbiner has been appointed to lead the Firm’s Chicago office.
Krysta, who joined the Firm in 2016, is an experienced trial lawyer focusing her practice on both civil and criminal complex litigation. In addition to handling a variety of litigation related matters, she regularly acts as a trusted advisor to clients.
With a reputation for giving strategic and timely advice, comprehensive approaches to resolutions and her collaborative spirit, Krysta is excited to step into this position and advance the Firm’s growth in the Chicago market.
In addition to growing the office, Krysta aspires for it to further continue its involvement in the greater Chicago community. Krysta becomes the first woman to hold this position in the Firm’s Chicago office, and is currently among six female office managing partners at Dinsmore. The Firm continues to advance women into key leadership roles, including on its Board of Directors and its Chief Executive Team.
Krysta assumes the role following the departure of Bobby Lucas, who becomes Chief Executive Officer at long-time Firm client, Hammond Group, a chemical manufacturer serving the lead battery market, which operates in the United States, Europe, and Asia.
