Han Kun Law Offices is pleased to welcome to the firm Mr. Yao Zhang, Wenle Du, Lei Zhu, and their team, who specialize in bankruptcy and restructuring.  The team has extensive experience and solid professional knowledge in the reorganization of listed companies, the reorganization of large groups, the reorganization and debt restructuring of real estate enterprises, and the resolution of commercial crises.  They have outstanding professional abilities, practical experience, and theoretical research capabilities, are good at accurately studying and judging transaction types, core issues of disputes, trial processes, and other professional issues in bankruptcy and reorganization business, accurately positioning the core interests and demands of participants such as debtors, creditors, investors, shareholders, and regulatory authorities, and providing practical and creative legal service solutions in difficult and complicated cases.  Their addition to the firm will further enhance Han Kun's comprehensive service capabilities in bankruptcy and restructuring and better meet the needs of the firm's clients.  They will work closely with other Han Kun teams to provide clients with professional and quality legal services.

Mr. Zhang has more than 17 years of experience in legal practice, especially in the areas of bankruptcy and restructuring of listed companies, debt restructuring of large enterprise groups, and asset restructuring.  As one of the first lawyers in the area of listed company reorganization, Mr. Zhang has worked for many years for two well-known PRC law firms and a corporate reorganization consulting firm.  Mr. Zhang has participated in many projects, which have pioneered the field of reorganization of listed companies, including real estate, chemical, manufacturing, agricultural products, photovoltaic, steel, coal and food industries.  Mr. Zhang is a member of the State-owned Property Right Transaction and Litigation Assets Disposal Committee of Beijing Municipal Debt Law Society.

Mr. Du focuses on bankruptcy and restructuring and has more than 10 years of experience.  He has been recognized as a recommended bankruptcy and restructuring lawyer by "The Legal 500".  Mr. Du has participated in many influential bankruptcy cases in many industries and acted as legal counsel for member managers, investors, debtors, and major creditors in past projects in many different roles, such as legal counsel.  His cases have involved industries such as shipping, real estate, petrochemical, industrial parks, equipment manufacturing, and food.  The relevant cases have been listed on the "Top Ten Commercial Cases of National Courts" and selected as typical cases by various local courts.

Mr. Zhu focuses on bankruptcy and restructuring, he has more than 15 years of experience.  Mr. Zhu was a member of the Bankruptcy Liquidation and Restructuring Committee of Chongqing Lawyers Association and awarded as "Top Ten Young Lawyers of the Fourth".  Mr. Zhu has rich experience in bankruptcy practice and has participated in a number of restructuring projects of listed and non-listed enterprises as the principal of an administrator.  His relevant cases have been selected as typical cases by local courts.  Mr. Zhu's cases have involved industries such as real estate, petrochemical, commercial complex, coal chemical, and construction materials.
