Greenspoon Marder Partner Gene K. Glasser Tapped as Honorary Member of the Florida Blue Key

Fort Lauderdale, Fla. – May 2, 2024 – Greenspoon Marder partner Gene K. Glasser has recently been tapped as an honorary member of the Florida Blue Key of the University of Florida. Honorary tapping provides the organization with an opportunity to recognize exemplary individuals who have contributed their time and directed their efforts to “the betterment of the University of Florida, Florida Blue Key, and Gator Nation as a whole.”

Fellow partner and Florida Blue Key member Dana Somerstein submitted the nomination for Mr. Glasser earlier this year. “Gene’s lifelong dedication to the welfare of the University of Florida and genuine passion for advancing its mission is exemplary. His past, his demonstrated leadership, and selfless community service make him a perfect fit for Florida Blue Key’s 2024 Honorary Tapping class,” said Ms. Somerstein.

Florida Blue Key (FBK) is the oldest and most prestigious leadership honorary in the state of Florida. Founded in 1923, FBK focuses on leadership and public service to the University of Florida and the State through its active chapter and alumni societies throughout Florida.

With over 40 years of experience, Gene K. Glasser is one of a select group of attorneys recognized by The Florida Bar as a board certified lawyer in the areas of Estate Planning and Administration and is a fellow in The American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC). Mr. Glasser is well known in the legal industry for his keen insight and extensive experience in handling the most complicated matters. He focuses his practice on tax law, estate planning and administration, and probate. Prior to his legal career, Mr. Glasser earned both his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 1970 and his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Florida in 1972. As a trustee, Mr. Glasser, alongside his wife, Elaine, established the ‘Gene K. Glasser and Elaine Glasser Fund’ at the University of Florida Fredric G. Levin College of Law in 2005 to support events in the Division of Student Affairs.
