Buchalter Welcomes Two Attorneys to Nashville Office

14 October 2024 - Buchalter is pleased to announce that Matthew DeVries has joined the Firm’s Nashville office as a Shareholder, along with attorney Summer Geyer. Both join as members of the Firm’s Litigation practice group, with extensive experience in construction and real estate litigation.

DeVries is a skilled litigator whose practice focuses on both construction law and the representation of clients in entertainment industry. He provides strategic counsel in contract negotiations, project management and claims preparation, and complex construction and business litigation for his eclectic client base, which includes sophisticated contractors, developers, and entertainers.
In addition to his legal work, DeVries is the founder of the nationally recognized construction blog, Best Practices Construction Law. He has received numerous accolades throughout his career, including listings in The Best Lawyers in America for Construction Law since 2013 and the Mid-South Super Lawyers' "Rising Star" award.
