On October 25, 2024, Asian Legal Business ("ALB") formally announced its "2024 ALB China Regional Ranking: Yangtze River Delta Firms".  The ranking identifies leading law firms for their practices in regional markets and comprises two categories: law firms headquartered in the Yangtze River Delta region and those not headquartered there but which have branches/offices in the region.  Han Kun was recognized in the ranking for the fourth time due to the firm's exceptional performance in the Yangtze River Delta region, and partner Vincent Song was ranked among Rising Lawyers.

Mr. Song joined Han Kun Law Offices in 2011.  Mr. Song specializes in venture capital and private equity financing, mergers and acquisitions, fund formation, and overseas listings.  Mr. Song has represented a large number of venture capital funds, private equity funds, and entrepreneurs in their investment and financing projects, has participated in numerous complex equity and asset acquisition and merger deals and has been significantly involved in the formation of and fundraising for numerous onshore and offshore private equity funds.  In addition, Mr. Song has also represented issuers and underwriters in certain Chinese company initial public offerings on overseas stock exchanges.  He has represented clients in a wide variety of industries, including TMT, healthcare, culture and entertainment, education, consumer, and transportation.

ALB is a leading legal magazine under Thomson Reuters and is one of the world's most influential legal media.  The ranking is a result of months-long research, surveys, and selection by ALB, as well as comprehensive consideration of various factors, such as the law firms' basic information, major transactions or litigation completed in the past 12 months, key clients, market positioning, and development strategies.  The ranking aims to recognize outstanding law firms with strong professional strengths, prominent accomplishments, and impressive performance in legal markets in the Yangtze River Delta region: Shanghai, Jiangsu Province, Zhejiang Province, and Anhui Province.  It showcases the law firms' professional strength and development strategies in China's regional legal markets.  Rising Lawyers recognize those individuals who are based in the Yangtze River Delta currently and are either not above the age of 40 or have no more than 15 years of legal professional experience.  They were chosen based on factors including major achievements, major transactions or cases, major work in the past 12 months, major clients, awards, and client and peer evaluations.
