Greenspoon Marder Partner Manuel Crespo Appointed to Cuban American Bar Association’s Pro Bono Project Board of Directors

November, 2024 - Fort Lauderdale, Florida

Miami – November 21, 2024 – Greenspoon Marder is pleased to announce that partner Manuel Crespo has been appointed to the Cuban American Bar Association’s (CABA) Pro Bono Project Board of Directors. Mr. Crespo, who has held several leadership roles within CABA, including serving as its president, is honored to serve in this new capacity and continue his longstanding commitment to providing legal support to underserved communities.

“I am truly honored to be appointed to the CABA Pro Bono Project Board of Directors,” said Mr. Crespo. “CABA’s commitment to providing legal services to the low-income community in South Florida is something I deeply believe in, and I am grateful for the opportunity to continue working alongside my colleagues to make a lasting impact.”

Mr. Crespo has been an integral part of CABA for years, and his contributions to the Pro Bono Project are particularly notable. He played a pivotal role in the successful reboot and repositioning of the CABA Pro Bono program in 2006, helping it become an independent 501(c)(3) entity. Recognizing the need to revitalize and expand the legal services initiative, Mr. Crespo’s efforts were critical to ensuring that the program could continue to assist individuals and families who otherwise would not have access to legal representation.
