Rome, 23 December 2024 – International law firm Gianni & Origoni announces the appointment of Ambassador Vincenzo De Luca as Of Counsel. He will be responsible for developing GOP's activities in the Asian and Middle Eastern markets, which are key regions in the firm's international strategy.

Ambassador De Luca boasts a diplomatic career that began in 1989 and is strongly oriented towards supporting the internationalization of the Italian business system, with a marked focus on Asian countries.

Throughout his career, he has held various positions at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and in diplomatic missions in Khartoum, Tunis, Paris (where he took up duties as Permanent Representation to the OECD), as well as Shanghai. Most recently, he served as Italy's Ambassador to India and Nepal. He was appointed Director General for Country Promotion on February 1, 2016, after serving in the same Directorate-General as Deputy Director General and Central Director for the internationalization of the Country System and local authorities.

He has long been involved, both in the public and private sectors, in the internationalization of the economic system, working in central offices, as a diplomatic advisor to the Ministries of Industry, Transport, and Economic Development, and in large companies.
