Shepherd and Wedderburn Advises AEGON UK on Sale to Goddard Perry

Shepherd and Wedderburn's Edinburgh corporate, commercial, property and employment teams have advised AEGON UK on the sale of its third-party pensions administration business to corporate consultants Goddard Perry. The life and pensions company believes the sale achieved a good commercial outcome for AEGON as well as offering stability and continuity of service to customers and better long-term prospects for employees in the business, which employs 82 staff in Daresbury, Cheshire.
