New Partners for Gianni, Origoni, Grippo & Partners

With the promotion of Alfredo D’Aniello, Decio Nicola Mattei, Luca Rinaldi
and Alessandro Zalonis the number of partners in the firm has risen to 69.

Rome, 27 June 2011 - Following the Partners Meeting of the law firm Gianni, Origoni, Grippo & Partners of 25 June, Alfredo D’Aniello, Decio Nicola Mattei, Luca Rinaldi and Alessandro Zalonis have become new Partners in the firm. The number of partners in Gianni, Origoni, Grippo & Partners has therefore risen to 69.

Alfredo D’Aniello, 33 years old, from the Corporate Department, is a specialist in corporate and commercial law and an expert in merger and acquisition (M&A) operations, venture capital and private equity funds investments, takeover bids for listed companies, joint ventures and commercial agreements, and extraordinary operations in general.
He graduated in Law from the "Federico II" University in Naples in 1999, and completed his personal professional preparation by attending various Corporate Finance and Global Banking courses in London and Berlin. In 2005-2006 he gained work experience at the New York office of the American firm Simpson Thacher & Bartlett. In 2006, in New York he completed a Corporate Finance course at New York University's School of Continuing and Professional Studies.
He has been at Gianni, Origoni, Grippo & Partners since 2000.

Decio Nicola Mattei, 38 years old, from the Litigation and Arbitration Department, mostly deals with civil, corporate, bankruptcy, banking and real estate litigation, providing judicial and extra-judicial assistance and advice to multinational and Italian companies. He is an expert in the drawing-up of commercial contracts, particularly in the real estate sector. He has gained significant experience in defence appearing before arbitration boards, including in administered arbitration.
He graduated in Law from the LUISS “Guido Carli” University in Rome in 1997, and he attended the Academy Of American and International Law at the University of Dallas in 2006 and “ICC's Young Arbitrators Forum” (Barcelona, 2008).
He has been at Gianni, Origoni, Grippo & Partners since 2001.

Luca Rinaldi, 39 years old, from the Intellectual Property Department, is a specialist in copyright and information technology. He has gained particular experience in the Media & Entertainment sector, particularly in the acquisition and distribution of television rights, especially with regard to sport and in cinema and television co-productions, as well as in the sector of restructuring and securitising intellectual and industrial property portfolios, and in the sectors of biotech research, development and licensing.
He graduated in Law from the University of Pavia in 1997, and attended degree courses on "droit des affaires" (business law) at the French Universities of Caen and Dauphine (Paris) in 1996; he was awarded a scholarship specialising in industrial law at the I.U.L.M. University of Milan in 1998, and he was an Assistant Professor of Industrial Law at the same university from 1999 to 2002.
He has been at Gianni, Origoni, Grippo & Partners since 2004.

Alessandro Zalonis, 48 years old, from the Tax Law Department, is a specialist in the indirect tax and tax litigation sector.
He graduated in Law from "La Sapienza" University in Rome in 1990, and was awarded a Masters in International VAT Law by Tulane University, in New Orleans (USA).
Before joining Gianni, Origoni, Grippo & Partners he worked at some major Italian law firms.
He has been at Gianni, Origoni, Grippo & Partners since 2009.
