Séché Environnement acquires Befesa Group’s Chilean subsidiary

Carey advised Séché Environnement, one of France’s leading players in the recovery and treatment of all types of waste, in the due diligence process and further acquisition from Befesa Group's Chilean subsidiary, Soluciones Ambientales del Norte. This company specializes in processing and storing hazardous waste derived mainly from the mining industry. The deal also included the acquisition of Befesa’s hazardous waste processing businesses in Peru and a majority stake of Solarca, a Spanish company specialized in industrial maintenance services.
