SyCipLaw helps Upper Bicutan National High School get Ready for School
SyCip Salazar Hernandez & Gatmaitan (SyCipLaw) participated in the “Ready for School” project of the Philippine Business for Social Progress (PBSP). A total of 44 SyCipLaw lawyers (partners, senior associates and associates) and non-legal staff painted school chairs and covered books last May 20 at the Upper Bicutan National High School in Taguig City.
Inspired by the Brigada Eskwela campaign of the Department of Education, PBSP's "Ready for School" project engages employee-volunteers of its member-companies in the preparation and renovation of public school facilities in time for school opening. Volunteering options included painting of school chairs, covering of books, classroom clean-up, and painting of blackboards, doors, teacher's tables and chairs.
Other companies that worked alongside SyCipLaw on that day were Accenture Philippines, Deloitte, ePLDT, UBS Securities, Mabuhay Vinyl, Intellicare, and the Contact Center Association of the Philippines.
Visit the PBSP website for more information on their programs (www.pbsp.org.ph/).
