BTI Ranks Haynes and Boone as a Leading Energy Law Firm

The 2017 BTI Industry Power Rankings recognized Haynes and Boone, LLP as among the select firms with “unparalleled client relationships.”
The report by BTI Consulting Group, Inc., a highly respected legal research firm, designates Haynes and Boone as a “Leading Recommended” firm for the Energy industry, ranking among the top three percent of all law firms in the field. With more than 90 lawyers in offices from London to New York to California and across Texas, Haynes and Boone’s Energy Practice Group handles high-stakes transactions and litigation, as well as financings and regulatory advice, for a diverse array of clients across the energy industry.
The rankings are based on direct, unprompted feedback gathered from more than 950 top legal decision makers at organizations with $1 billion or more in revenue. Researchers conducted in-depth telephone interviews between March 2015 and February 2017. The research is independent and unbiased: no law firm or organization other than BTI sponsors the studies. The report, “BTI Industry Power Rankings 2017: The Law Firms with the Best Client Relationships in 18 Industries,” is designed to show “which law firms stand out from competitors to earn the attention, kudos, and lion’s share of legal dollars from clients.”
Earlier in 2017, a separate BTI report ranked Haynes and Boone among the nation’s most recognized law firms in a number of key categories, including as a “tech-savvy” firm that is regularly “short-listed” by corporate counsel when deciding which firms to hire for new assignments.
That report, “BTI Brand Elite 2017: Client Perceptions of the Best-Branded Law Firms,” was based on more than 633 confidential interviews and ranked Haynes and Boone as a recognized brand in the “client’s choice” category, which identifies firms that are regularly recommended by corporate counsel to their peers and that are routinely “short-listed” for new work assignments.
