Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek advises TimePartner on the acquisition of Weiderer group's HR services business

January, 2018 - Duesseldorf, Germany

A team comprised of members from various offices, led by Stuttgart-based partner Dr. Peter Ladwig, advised TimePartner Group, one of Germany's leading personnel service providers, on the acquisition of the HR services division from Weiderer Holding GmbH and accompanied the transaction. The transaction comprised all shares held by Weiderer Holding GmbH in aartos Personalservice, Weiderer Personaldienste, and opTEAMum Personaldienstleistungen.

The divested companies of Weiderer group employ a total of more than 1,000 external employees and generated sales in excess of EUR 30 million in fiscal 2017. The companies sold are predominantly operating in Bavaria and operate recruitment sites in the Czech Republic. Upon closing the transaction, Weiderer group will withdraw from the temporary employment and staff recruitment sector.

TimePartner Group, acquired by Belgian temporary employment group House of HR in 2016, is one of Germany’s ten largest temporary employment firms with more than 100 branches and over 8,000 temporary workers. In 2016, TimePartner Group generated sales of more than EUR 260 million.

At the end of last year, TimePartner Group had already acquired HR service provider Mach Professionals with the assistance of Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek. With this latest acquisition, TimePartner Group further expands its presence in southern Germany and continues its expansion path in Germany.
