Palash Basu Joins Dinsmore’s Washington D.C. Office

Dinsmore & Shohl LLP has added Palash Basu as an associate to the firm’s Washington D.C. office. Basu will practice out of the IP Opinion and Prosecution Practice Group.
Basu comes to Dinsmore from Patterson & Sheridan LLP, where he counseled clients on patent procurement related to electrical and mechanical technologies and managed patent portfolio strategies for domestic and international markets. Basu previously served as a senior electronic systems engineer in the aerospace industry.
Basu earned his Juris Doctor from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law in 2014, where he represented the law school as an oralist at the Jessup International Moot Court Competition. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering, with a minor in Mathematics, from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
