Daniel Lano Joins Dinsmore's Chicago Office

Dinsmore & Shohl LLP welcomes Daniel Lano to its Chicago office, where he joins as an associate in the IP Trademark practice group.
Lano has a wide range of experience related to trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets, and other aspects of IP law, including advertising, sponsorship, and domain name issues. His experience includes working with clients and foreign law firms on issues involving global trademark prosecution and filing strategies, filing trademark applications in the U.S. and internationally, maintaining trademark oppositions worldwide in support of multi-national trademark portfolios, and executing action responses, specimen of use reviews and other formalities.
Lano earned his J.D. from DePaul University College of Law and a B.A. from the New England Conservatory of Music. He’s been a member of professional symphony orchestras in both Boston and Cleveland.
