Dinsmore's Roger Peterman Joins Horizon Community Funds Board
Horizon Community Funds of Northern Kentucky has added Dinsmore partner Roger Peterman to its board effective Jan. 4. The nonprofit, created to increase charitable giving among Northern Kentucky individuals, companies and organizations, aims to fund needs and programs for the people of Boone, Campbell and Kenton counties.
Peterman is the managing partner of the firm's Covington office and a member of its public finance practice group. In his more than 30 year legal career, he has been in the forefront of major changes in Kentucky's public finance laws and in enhancing the public finance tools available to state and local government.
His nonprofit leadership includes previous service on the boards of the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce, the Tri-County Economic Development Corporation, Healthpoint Family Care and United Way. In addition to his new post with Horizon Community Funds, Peterman serves on the Fort Thomas City Council and boards of Southbank Partners, St. Elizabeth Hospital, Northern Kentucky Port Authority and Covington Business Council.
