Erin Farabaugh Elected to Association for Corporate Growth Pittsburgh’s Board of Directors
Dinsmore & Shohl partner Erin Farabaugh has been elected to the Association for Corporate Growth Pittsburgh’s Board of Directors for the 2018-2019 term.
Founded in 1954, the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) has chapters worldwide representing 14,500 members. ACG serves 90,000 investors, executives, lenders and advisers to growing middle-market companies. Its mission is to drive middle-market growth. The Pittsburgh chapter, named a Chapter of the Year by ACG Global, draws more than 3,000 people to its annual events.
Farabaugh previously served as the Chairwoman of ACG Pittsburgh Future Corporate Leaders Board, and the Pittsburgh Venture Capital Association Emerging Leaders Board. In addition to ACG, she currently serves on the Board of the Western Pennsylvania & WV Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and is an active Fellow of the Allegheny County Bar Foundation.
She is vice chair of Dinsmore’s Business, Acquisitions and Securities Practice Group, and counsels clients on all aspects of commercial transactions. She also serves as outside general counsel to several private businesses and private equity-backed portfolio companies, and is committed to partnering with her clients through an integrated understanding of each client’s industry, business operations, and strategic goals. Farabaugh provides proactive and practical guidance on matters spanning from corporate governance, to commercial contracts, growth initiatives, and business succession planning.
Farabaugh earned her J.D. and Certificate of Advanced Study in International and Comparative Law from University of Pittsburgh School of Law.
