Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek Assists asknet AG with Capital Increase with Subscription Rights

Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek’s partner Dr. Thorsten Kuthe and his team legally advised asknet AG’s rights issue to finance their growth plan. The public offering was one of the first capital measures using a short securities information sheet instead of a prospectus. The securities information sheet had to be permitted by BaFin to be published. This new legal possibility is a less expensive, easy way to execute smaller capital measures such as subscription offers, which is now possible without a prospectus, similar to how it used to be in the past. Through this capital increase, asknet AG was able to record gross proceeds of around EUR 1,000,000.
asknet AG globally sells both physical and digital products online. In addition, it creates software portals for scientific and educational institutions and trades in this segment with various softwares. The company was founded in 1995 as a spin-off of the Institute for Technologies in Karlsruhe.
