Awards Season

This was a very good month for our firm. Our Senior Partner, Jorge Carey, was elected for the fourth consecutive year, as the most influential lawyer in Chile, based on a survey of 400 national leaders that was conducted by La Tercera newspaper and CADEM, a prestigious Chilean pollster company.
We also received the Chilean Firm of the Year award from the prestigious legal guide, Chambers Latin America. This is the fifth time we have received this recognition, making us the firm that has won this award the most times.
In addition, we were recognized as one of the top law firms in Chile in several practice areas by IFLR1000 in their 2019 edition.
Finally, we were recognized as Law Firm of the Year in Capital Markets by Best Lawyers’ 2019 ranking, which also highlighted three of our partners as lawyers of the year: Rafael Vergara in Natural Resources; Alfonso Silva in Telecommunications and Salvador Valdés in Capital Markets, making Carey the local firm with the highest number of lawyers ranked.
