A new partner Ieva Dosinaitė is joining the firm as of 10 December 2018. Ieva Dosinaitė, who is commended for excellent negotiation and analytical skills in financial transactions, acted as a trusted legal advisor for many international financial institutions, next-generation financial institutions, banks and Lithuania's largest business groups. Her high level of expertise has also been showcased in many projects strategically important for Lithuania. Before joining Ellex Valiunas, Ieva Dosinaitė was head of the finance industry group at the law firm TGS Baltic.

Ieva Dosinaitė together with Ellex Valiunas’ partner Giedrius Stasevičius will co-chair the finance practice. Giedrius Stasevičius has more than 20 years of experience in financial law and is visible as a field expert on an international level too. The legal directory Chambers Europe ranks Giedrius Stasevičius as “one of the most experienced experts in banking and finance”.

Strengthening the co-chair model

Ieva Dosinaitė and Giedrius Stasevičius are not the only co-chairs at Ellex Valiunas. The co-chair project, which the firm has been implementing for a year now, creates the synergy of partners with different levels of experience. According to Rolandas Valiūnas, this model has proven to be successful; thus more and more young professionals of the firm get involved in management.

The industry and regulatory practice at Ellex Valiunas is co-chaired by partner dr. Jaunius Gumbis and partner Dovilė Greblikienė. Jaunius Gumbis specialises in trade, pharmacy and IT law. Dovilė Greblikienė as an expert in energy and regulatory industries represented clients in energy cases in national and international arbitration courts.

Associate partner dr. Karolis Kačerauskas, who has more than 13 years of experience in PPP, public procurement, state aid, EU and domestic trade, and competition projects, becomes a new head of the public procurement practice at Ellex Valiunas.

The tax practice will be led by Gintaras Balčius who has more than 25 years of experience in advising companies on tax risk, deal pricing and tax-related litigation.

Partners Paulius Gruodis and Žilvinas Zinkevičius will continue as co-heads of the corporate and M&A practice; partner Ramūnas Petravičius with Giedrė Aukštuolienė will further co-chair the dispute resolution practice.

Jaunius Gumbis, Marius Juonys, Raimundas Lideika, dr. Vytautas Mizaras, Arūnas Petrauskas, Ramūnas Petravičius, dr. Andrius Smaliukas, Giedrius Stasevičius, Vilija Vaitkute Pavan, Žilvinas Zinkevičius and Rolandas Valiūnas, as well as a new partner of the law firm, Ieva Dosinaitė. In total, 37 partners practice in Ellex circle in the Baltic countries.
