Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek Advises Largest Dutch Real Estate Service Provider MVGM Group on the Acquisition of PropertyFirst GmbH

Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek advised largest real estate service provider in the Netherlands, MVGM-Group, on the acquisition of PropertyFirst GmbH from RGM-Group with effect from 1 January 2019. Bochum-based PropertyFirst GmbH operates at 12 locations and offers any commercial and technical property management services. It manages rental space of approx. 3 million m² and administers numerous rental apartments and owner communities. A team led by the Düsseldorf-based partner Dr. Martin Imhof provided legal and tax advice for the acquisition in its entire range.
With around 900 employees, Dutch MVGM-Group operates at more than 20 locations and, in addition to the administration, handles both valuation and comprehensive advice on real estate portfolios. Across the group, it manages more than 165,000 apartments and operates on behalf of more than 3,000 owner communities. Moreover, MVGM-Group is in charge of the administration of more than 6 million m² of office, commercial and retail space. With the acquisition of PropertyFirst GmbH, MVGM will be able to improve its services to German-based customers even better. MVGM is aiming for further growth in Germany through add-on acquisitions.
