T. Matthew Lockhart Named to 2019 Leadership West Virginia

Dinsmore & Shohl LLP’s Matt Lockhart has been accepted into Leadership West Virginia’s class of 2019.
Lockhart is among 57 members of Leadership West Virginia’s newest class. Leadership West Virginia is now in its 28th year as the statewide education and leadership development program. The program is designed to build and support emerging leaders in the state of West Virginia and consists of eight monthly two-day educational sessions.
Lockhart is a partner in the litigation department with a wide array of courtroom experience. He has federal and state trial experience and has practiced before West Virginia’s federal and state appellate courts, such as the United States Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals and the West Virginia Supreme Court of Appeals. His experience also includes railroad litigation, including derailment claims and Federal Employers’ Liability Act litigation. He represents clients in complex commercial and business litigation, including corporate and contract disputes, consumer credit protection claims, professional liability claims representing lawyers, insurance brokers and real estate professionals.
