Trial Attorney Michael R. Carey Joins Dykema’s Minneapolis Office
Dykema, a leading national law firm, today announced the addition of Michael R. Carey to its Products, Class Actions & Professional Liability Practice Group as a Member in the firm’s Minneapolis office. He joins Dykema from Bowman and Brooke LLP, where he practiced for more than a decade.
Carey is a trial lawyer with experience in complex commercial and high‑stakes products liability litigation. He has taken numerous cases to successful verdict in state and federal courts across the country. In addition to his trial work, Carey has defended and prosecuted appeals before the Minnesota Appellate Courts and the Eighth and Ninth Circuits.
Carey also counsels mobility industry clients on proactive risk mitigation strategies relating to Automated Driving Systems and other advanced automotive safety technologies. He is also frequently called upon to publish and present on legal issues and advances in this emerging field.

Carey received a J.D., cum laude, from the William Mitchell College of Law and a B.A. from St. John’s University.
