Hanson Bridgett Welcomes Partner Andrew Bassak and Senior Counsel Christopher Rheinheimer

May 1, 2019 (SAN FRANCISCO, CA) Hanson Bridgett is pleased to announce the addition of attorneys Andrew Bassak and Christopher Rheinheimer to the firm.
Bassak joins as partner in the firm's litigation section, most recently having served as partner at Manatt, Phelps & Phillips LLP for more than 20 years. He has advised and represented clients who are key players in leading industries such as real estate, energy and utilities, environmental, financial services, and more. Bassak's wide-ranging experience encompasses all aspects of business trials, resolving varied commercial disputes in federal and state courts as well as arbitration, including cross-border disputes. Outside of his practice, Bassak has served as president of the Board of Governors of the Association of Business Trial Lawyers and has been honored with California Lawyer Magazine's California Lawyer of the Year Award.

Bassak joins Hanson Bridgett following the recent addition of Senior Counsel Christopher Rheinheimer, who joined the firm's real estate and environmental section in April. Similar to Bassak, Rheinheimer served in the San Francisco office of Manatt, Phelps & Phillips LLP, and prior to that, Latham & Watkins LLP. His practice involves complex trials and litigation, focusing on representing and advising clients in environmental, energy, and real estate-related matters, including representation for leading energy companies, national health care organizations, and numerous real estate developers and investors. Rheinheimer adds to Hanson Bridgett's strong Environment and Natural Resources practice group.
