Rome, June 10 2019 – International law firm Gianni, Origoni, Grippo, Cappelli & Partners has appointed Giampietro Castano as Of Counsel.
A long-time consultant to the Italian Ministry of Economic Development (MISE), where he led the Business Crisis Management Unit for 11 years (2007 to 2019), Giampietro is unanimously recognized as one of the leading experts in industrial and social relations management. He will be working alongside GOP lawyers on strategic issues concerning extraordinary transactions and business crises.
A graduate in Economics, throughout the course of his professional career Giampietro has gained wide and varied experience dealing with the management of industrial and social relations on all fronts, initially as a manager of the largest trade union organization of industrial workers and, later, as director of human resources at a leading IT company.
Currently Giampietro coordinates a work group focused on "The Industrial Relations Crisis in Italy" which includes representatives of the major, Italian companies.
