Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek Advises Investor Consortium on Acquisition of Babcock & Wilcox Loibl GmbH
A consortium of investors advised by Deutsche Invest Mittelstand (DIM) has acquired Babcock & Wilcox Loibl GmbH (Loibl), a subsidiary of Babcock & Wilcox Enterprises, Inc., as part of a carve-out. A team led by Private Equity lawyer Dr. Jörg aus der Fünten, Partner at the law firm of Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek, advised DIM on the transaction.
Loibl is one of Germany’s leading providers and manufacturers of customized transport solutions for bulk goods. Its product range extends from individual components to complex systems. The company, founded in 1961, employs 134 people.
