Profile

As a commercial litigation associate, Andrew assists clients in a broad array of matters, including class action defense.  He has experience in many aspects of litigation, from fact and expert discovery, motions practice, and depositions to trial preparation.  Andrew has defended a home improvement retailer in various employment class actions and in lawsuits alleging various business torts, represented an automotive coatings manufacturer in breach of contract actions, defended a golf course management company against unfair competition and false advertising claims, formed and dissolved limited liability companies for clients performing consulting services and charitable work, defended a construction materials manufacturer against lawsuits alleging property damage and personal injury, and advised a multinational beverages company regarding legal rights under distribution agreements.

In addition to his client service, Andrew is a member of the Pro Bono and Associates Advisory Committees in the Los Angeles office.  Through his pro bono efforts, Andrew has served as lead trial counsel in an unlawful detainer case successfully preventing eviction of senior citizen from his rent-controlled West Hollywood apartment and assisted an urban agriculture nonprofit organization in identifying and minimizing risk of potential liability.

Andrew is admitted to practice before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and the Northern, Eastern, Central and Southern Districts of California.
