Andreas Hösli is a Senior Associate in the Corporate/M&A team of Walder Wyss. He is an expert in ESG & Sustainability and advises companies, NGOs and public institutions on all legal issues in this area, with a particular focus on climate change-related legal issues (eg reporting, due diligence, risk management, and contract drafting). Andreas has published extensively on these issues and is a frequent speaker at conferences and workshops. In addition, Andreas has several years of expertise in the areas of litigation, employment law and white-collar crime.

Andreas graduated magna cum laude from the University of Zurich (lic. Iur., 2011). After his clerkship at the District Court of Zurich and his admission to the Swiss Bar in 2014, he worked as an Associate in a top-tier law Swiss law firm. In 2018, Andreas completed an LL.M. degree at the University of New South Wales, Sydney, in 2018 (with excellence). From 2019 to 2024, Andreas conducted his PhD project on Corporate Climate Responsibility (University of Zurich, Visiting Researcher at the University of Copenhagen, the University of Oslo and the University of Bergen), which was supported by the Swiss National Science Foundation. Since 2024, Andreas teaches the course Sustainability Law at the University of Applied Sciences Northwestern Switzerland.

Andreas Hösli speaks German, English, French and Italian. He is registered with the Zurich Bar Registry and is admitted to act before all Swiss courts.
