Gwendoline Bruneau is a patent agent in Lavery’s intellectual property group. With a Ph.D. in physics on the one hand, and a curious mind on the other, Gwendoline has a practice in numerous areas of mechanical and electrical technologies including construction, vehicles, medical devices, automated processes, plastics and metals, nanotechnology, software, telecommunications and optics.

Professional Career

Significant Accomplishments

Beginning as an in-house intellectual property counsellor in 2000, and then as a registered patent agent in Canada and United States since 2003, she drafts and prosecutes patent and industrial design applications in Canada, the United States and abroad, and prepares patentability, infringement, validity and freedom-to-operate opinions, for small to large companies and universities.
