Senior Associate

Jessyca is a member of the Labour and Employment Law group and the Litigation group.

As part of her practice, she advises employers on all legal aspects relating to human resources management and matters relating to occupational injury, in addition to representing employers before various administrative tribunals and ordinary courts of law.

She also practises in matters of civil litigation. She is involved in civil liability cases, including class actions, in health and social services law, personal insurance and contract management.

In addition, Ms. Duval is an instructor at the École du Barreau, teaching the negotiation technique clinic on labour law.

Prior to joining Lavery, Ms. Duval worked as a lawyer in the health sector, where she gained practical experience in labour and employment law. She holds a Bachelor of Laws, in the co-op program, from the Université de Sherbrooke.
