Profile

Ntebaleng Sekabate is an Executive in the Tax practice at ENS.

She has advised large corporate clients across various sectors including mining, information technology, private equity funds, as well as the public sector.

Ntebaleng also has extensive experience  in advising corporates and B-BBEE shareholders on the tax-efficient structuring,  re-structuring, financing and refinancing of broad-based black economic empowerment (B-BBEE) investment and ownership transactions, including loans, equity, preference share funding and notional vendor financing arrangements. Ntebaleng has also advised corporates across various sectors on the deductibility of expenditure incurred in respect of the compliance with B-BBEE legislation and the tax reporting of expenditure so incurred.

Ntebaleng’s experience includes advising clients on mining tax, empowerment deals and private equity, as well as structuring investments into South Africa. She is also experienced in assisting clients in disputes with the South African Revenue Service, and advising on general corporate tax matters.

  • Diploma in Insolvency Law and Practice (cum laude) (University of Johannesburg).
  • Admitted as an attorney of the High Court of South Africa
