This includes coordinating pro bono referrals, MinterEllison’s significant commitment to LawRight’s Homeless Persons’ Legal Clinic (HPLC), and award-winning partnerships with organisations such as Glenala State High School and Australia’s CEO Challenge.

With more than 15 years' experience in this area, I enjoy sharing my knowledge and strategies for effective community engagement. I also work collaboratively to find innovative ways to address pressing community issues.

Career highlights

• Won the Queensland Law Society Individual Pro Bono Award in 2009 and was a finalist in the law category of the 2013 Human Rights Awards
• Formerly acted as president of the QPILCH (now LawRight) Management Committee and chair of the Queensland Law Society’s Access to Justice and Pro Bono Committee
• Worked with QPILCH to develop and operate a unique telephone clinic model for the HPLC program
• Achieved life-changing results for disadvantaged and vulnerable people in Queensland through hands-on and supervisory HPLC work
• Worked with Australia’s CEO Challenge to develop the Darkness to Daylight Challenge, which is now a successful annual community running event in Brisbane that attracts thousands of participants to raise awareness and funding for domestic violence prevention
