Profile
Sandra Salinas B. has been a member of the firm since 1993. She obtained her law degree from the Universidad Mayor de San Andrés Law School in La Paz, Bolivia and was admitted to practice in 1993.
Mrs. Salinas is an environmental law expert. She has a diverse legal background as counsel to many non-governmental agencies and major corporations, for whom she has provided services in compliance counseling and auditing; negotiations with regulatory authorities; and environmental permitting and reporting.
Mrs. Salinas has participated in several conferences related to Environmental law, such as the ABA conference on Infrastructure, Environment, and Dispute Resolutions in the Americas (June 2001). Mrs. Salinas is also a member of RIELA (Red Interamericana de Especialistas en Legislación Ambiental) and has participated as a guest speaker in RIELA’s conferences’ held in Colombia and Brazil. Recently Mrs. Salinas represented the firm at the Baker Botts 6th Annual Latin American Environmental Law Seminar – Houston, TX.
Mrs. Salinas is fluent in Spanish and English.
