Profile
Tomas Rybar graduated from the Law Faculty of Comenius University, Bratislava, Slovakia and received his M.A in 2001. In 2001 he gained a certificate of EU expertise from the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Institute for European Politics. Before joining Cechova & Partners, he worked with the Bratislava office of Squire Sanders & Dempsey L.L.P. and with the Agner Law Firm. He is a Slovak national, fluent in English and Czech, with basic language abilities in German and Hungarian.
Tomas is a member of the Extended Bureau of AIJA - International Association of Young Lawyers and Co-Chair of its National Representatives Committee. Tomas is also a member of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Slovak Bar Association.
He is primarily active in the areas of life sciences and employment law, as well as contract and corporate law.
Tomáš is a leading expert in pharmaceutical law, giving advice to may pharmaceutical companies operating in Slovakia.
In addition, he leads thw team of attorneys focused on employment law in our office, having worked on a wide range of cases concerning employment law, personal data protection and privacy matters.
His professional practice includes mergers and acquisitions, compliance, European law, real estate and information technology.
