Clayton Barnett is a Senior Counsel in the Firm’s Denver office and a member of the Litigation practice group. Mr. Barnett maintains a national sports law practice that involves all facets of amateur sports. He serves as outside counsel to various NIL Collectives, including entity formation and compliance with state and federal law in addition to NCAA regulations. His sports law practice also includes the representation of college and professional coaches in a wide variety of roles, including contract negotiations, internal investigations, public relations, and crisis management.

Mr. Barnett also has extensive experience as a commercial litigation attorney with a particular emphasis on partnership disputes as well as cases involving the energy and construction sectors.
