Profile

Dylan is a first-generation university graduate and attorney. Originally from Waynesville, North Carolina, Dylan obtained a bachelor's degree from the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington, before attending Notre Dame Law School in South Bend, Indiana. At Notre Dame, Dylan was a Managing Senior Editor for the Notre Dame Journal of Law, Ethics & Public Policy, with which he published a Note entitled, Dangerous to Be Right When Established Authorities Are Wrong: A Proposal for the Protection of America’s Migratory Birds (2021). Dylan also served as a mentor for the Asian Law Students Association and was a founding member of the First Generation Professionals organization. 

Following law school, Dylan served as a judicial law clerk to United States Magistrate Judge David B. Fannin of the Western District of Texas (2021-2023) and United States District Judge Pamela A. Barker of the Northern District of Ohio (2023-2024).  Throughout his clerkships, Dylan gained invaluable experience at all stages of civil litigation in the federal courts.

In his free time, Dylan enjoys playing piano and volunteering.
